I’m feeling really down at the moment. As you guys know, I’ve separated my buns and they will remind separated until a month after their spay and neuter. They were free roaming and had access to the entire house together although they stuck to just the downstairs. They were happy, running and binky-ing everywhere and it was such a joy to watch. Now we’ve had to section off our downstairs into two parts, so Peanut has the left side of the living room and the kitchen and Buttercup has the right side of the living room. Peanut has access to their cardboard castle which they both loved and Buttercup has access to the sideboard which they both liked to lay under. Anyway, our house is small and the downstairs area is small and therefore the sectioned areas for the bunnies are obviously small. It’s not enough for them to run around like they did before and they look so sad. The sofa is in “Buttercup’s area” so she always has company so to speak, but whenever I am in the kitchen, she comes running to her sectioned panels and looks over – She so badly wants to be in the kitchen (and stop me from going in he pantry, the little rascal! It was her favourite thing to do lol, she wasn’t allowed in the pantry so of course that’s all she wanted more than anything else :p) Little Peanut keeps himself to himself, I sit in his area throughout the day so he has company but he’s not as attention needing as my little Butter Bean but I can’t help but feel guilty when I give her attention and not him.
I know I’m rambling but I just feel low. All I keep thinking is I cannot wait til I can ty to bond them and get back to their old routine which made me and the buns so happy.
