Winter has a bit of a crusty nose. I was petting her tonight when I saw and felt it. She’s got a bit of her (mucus?) up furthur on her head, and it’s worrying me. I couldn’t get a good picture.I only noticed it now.

Her appetite is fine, her water in take is good, activity level is good as well. Is this something to take her to the vet for, or is it something that is nothing to worry about?

We also have been bonding her and Licorice. They’re getting along quite well, and within the past week have met a lot. Should we stop bonding in case he gets it? I checked him over and he didn’t have a crusty nose, so I’m not too worried about him but I would like confirmation. I think I will check them over fully tomorrow.

Looking at pics online of crusty noses, that actually doesn’t look like it at all. Her nose is well groomed and perfectly fine, except for goldeny flecks of mucus (i think it is mucus anyway.)

My Bunny has a lot of mucus on his nose, he has allergies and the vet said not to worry about it, he has white mucus and has for some time and sneezes a lot and makes a sound like one of those small dogs, it would be best to get Winter checked over by a vet to make sure there is no infection, maybe Winter is allergic to something like Olly, but the hardest thing is working out what.

Nasal discharge is not normal and could be signs of something mild like allergies or something more serious like a respiratory infection. If the mucous continues, I suggest having your vet check out your girl.
