It looks a bit like what I call “cecal juice”, Charming, I know. My NZ White Cross leaves these a bit. Another rabbit just leaves the brown spot. Other friends Ive talked to said some of their rabbits do also. Do you see her reach down to eat her cecal droppings or does she turn around and eat them off the floor?

If it’s the first time you’re seeing this, you may need to fine tune her diet a little. Limit starchy carbs, sugar etc.

Hate everything as in totally ignore it? I have one rabbit who use to eat greens when she was younger. Then she just lost interest. She has taken to eating a little more of them now that I’ve been reducing the pellets. She’s still fussy and hangs out for the food she really wants, but at least she’s trying some again.

My bunny had quite the case of “ceacal drops” a few weeks ago. Looked like diarrhea, liquid brown, but only once a day. If it was anytime he pooped, I would have called it intestinal diarrhea. Because it was only a night, it had to have been from the cecum. Then I remembered that he had gotten hold of a blackberry a day or so before… dark fruit play havoc with his belly. So I gave him benebac, problem solved.

I’m pretty sure it’s Luna that makes a mess of the upstairs fleece in their cage with the cecal juice I was worried about it at first since Bandit never used to leave anything like that, but she seems very healthy otherwise. Some nights there’s none, others there’s a few spots. Fortunately it washing out well

Hmm, my pair are on fleece so it just comes out in the wash, however I think spraying with a vinegar/water solution, letting it sit for a few minutes then dabbing it up should work. I wouldn’t rub it because it might spread.
