I have a three month old neverland dwarf bunny. For the past two days now she has been sneezing, About three or four times every hour or so. I think she’s eating and drinking normally ( I have two bunnies so it’s a bit difficult to keep track of who’s eating what) but she’s definitely had some water and hay today and a bit of grass. She has no discharge or any other symptoms and is lounging around looking pretty relaxed and also still playing and such. She’s always a bit calm and chill and reserved anyway so it’s not like it’s possible to notice if she’s reserved. Does she need to see a vets yet? I’m a student so I didn’t want to rush down and spend £40 on a consultation if it’s just a little cold ? But obviously if she needs to go I’ll take her first thing tomorrow!! Any advice would be great thank you ))

Is she moulting? Or have you started using new perfume or scented candles in the room? All these can irritate bunny respiratory systems causing sneezing.

Rabbits dont get colds like humans, and they need antibiotics to help get them over it. No discharge makes it sound like maybe it’s not an infection though.

Whenever my rabbit sneezes I know it means we have to go vet even if he’s hppy and binkying around as he has a history of pasturella, but I know other people on here who have sneezy buns who literally just got fur up their nose.

She is moulting at the moment and there is quite a bit of fur in her poop. Do you think she’s just got some fur stuck ? Where she’s a baby and I haven’t had her long I’m so unsure !

Duringher moult it’s a good idea to set aside more time to groom her to help keep fur levels down! (my girl is long haired and it’s a nightmare!), unlike cats they cant cough up hairballs, and any fur they ingest they have to pass-but it can lead to tummy blockages.

This forum cant give you a diagnosis, we can only say what we think might be happening, but we cant assess her and we arent qualified-just enthusiastic bunny folk-so if you are concerned it is better to be safe and take her to the vet.
