Hi Everyone!

So my bun Waffles is 6 years old and I just moved with her to a new city and unfortunately can’t take her to the vet until tomorrow. I noticed when I got home from work today that she has started making this bizarre noise I’ve never heard her make before. It’s somewhere between sneezing, hiccuping, and yelping all at the same time and only lasts less than half a second. I don’t know if it has only happened while she has been sleeping but I’ve started watching her closely (the noise seems to happen about once every half hour) and the last two times happened while she was asleep. She looks like she stops breathing for a few seconds, and then makes that noise to wake herself up. She opens her mouth wide and shakes her head while she makes the noise. She is eating, hopping, and begging for cuddles all the same and has no nasal discharge. I’ve watched her yawn once or twice since the onset of this and it doesn’t (from what I can see) look like she has anything lodged in her mouth. Like I said, I’ve had her for six years and she’s never made noises like this before. Her last check-up was in June and the vet said everything was fine with her. Any advice or possible answers would be very helpful! I’m a complete helicopter mom and know I will not be sleeping until she either completely stops making the noise or I take her to the vet tomorrow.
