Haha……he worked his magic on me. He’s just so perfect for our family. He’s like a little dog. He follows me around all day and sleeps wherever I am. And he’s such a good little buddy for Everly. The rescue kept posting his picture and I just couldn’t bear the thought of letting him go to someone else. I thought I would have to fight tooth and nail with Rick to agree but it didn’t take much. I think Ricky liked him more than he was admitting. And he’s a lap cat! I haven’t had one of those in a long time. And he sleeps with me all night. Takes up a lot of room for a little guy….
So his new name is Kyle. Ricky was calling him Kyle all along (after Kyle Reece from Terminator). So I figured I would be nice and let him name one of our pets. He’s never really been allowed much say in the past with naming our animals (or kid)
. So yes, now we have this little orange cat (or orange-jedge cat as Everly says) and he’s here to stay. Hopefully he will be with us for a very long time. The vet estimated he’s about 12-18 months.
