Had a really bad night with the bunnies, lots of thumping and chasing and not enough sleeping going on. Poor Pippi seemed to be the main one getting chased by both Mini and Snickers. Mini and Snickers are both moulting heavily, so that might leave them moody, and its also possible there was a cat or fox in the back garden, which would explain Snickers frantic chasing round and round and round, driving Pippi before her.
Either way. I decided to take Pippi away from Snickers and Mini and see if he would rebond with Jenny, given she is well over her moult, and its clear a four way bond isn’t going to be accepted by any of the girls.
Pippi was glad to get away from Mini and Snickers, and just flopped down near Jenny. She clearly nervous, and soon made her way to a hay box the other side of the living room, about 5 m from where Pippi lay, and where she could still see him.
Maybe an hour later she made her way gradually closer

And closer

And grooming

They’ve now been together nearly all day, and seem happy to be back together

Mini and Snickers weren’t fully bonded when I bought them home, which is why I tried Pippi with them in the first place, but it seems they are now, moults and all

And playtime together

I’ve put boards over the glass at the bottom of the back doors, in case something in the garden was part of last nights mad chasing, and plan to let them spend the night back as 3 pairs, shut off from the outside world…
