  Someone please tell me if there’s more I should be doing for Lola.
  
  She has one of those wire condos I made myself! She’s 6 months old recently spayed. I work 9-5 every day and once I get home I let her out to play until I go to bed around 930-10ish each night.
  
  Now I guess I’m not sure if that’s enough time for her to excersize (sometimes she’ll even jump back in her cage early and just lay) but once I put her back and and close her door she sometimes will just sit and chew on her cage.
  
  It is 1. Sooo annoying when I’m trying to lay down and relax
  But also 2. Does it have harm to her teeth?
  
  I assumed it’s because she wants to be out more, but I don’t trust her out and about without me around because she always poops on my couch and I don’t want her to chew on anything in my room she shouldn’t. (Wood standing mirror I have she loves to nibble at)
  
  I read on here they should get at least 3 hours of play time every day, and she has a large cage for her size, I just feel bad and get annoyed when she chews on the dang thing.
  
  Any suggestions??

  You could:
  1) add an x-pen onto the cage to give her more space to run around at night while you sleep
  2) put more chew/enrichment toys in her cage
  3) bunny-proof your bedroom and let her be out while you sleep (I’d caution doing this – it worked well for Luna but it really depends on the bun)

  Does she have a lot of chew toys? She might simply want to chew.
  
  My girl chews like it’s going out of fashion, she’d have all the cage doors open, her pen will be open and she’ll have the run of the room, and she’ll wander over and chew on the bars anyway. You could try rubbing something on the bars to make them taste bad like bitter sprays

  I have 2 of the same wooden chew toys in her cage and I’m guessing he would like something different or more. Because she will still chew when the doors are open.
  
  I didn’t even think about that, she was never much of a chewer.
  
  Thanks guys! We just adopted another bun today! So Lola has a friend now, still bonding, bit very exciting day at home!

  Bunita is really bad at chewing anything she can get her mouth on. I ended up putting a phonebook in her room for when she’s alone and she’s been chewing on that like crazy. Hasn’t chewed on the door since! I think she likes that she can move the pages around with digging and do whatever. She’s well into the “L’s” of the phonebook now aha.
  Anyway yeah, I find new toys help distract her from things I don’t want her chewing. Even cardboard boxes. Paper with a few pellets and then scrunch it into a ball. Simple cheap things. I’ve gone to thrift stores before to buy cheap books since we ran out of ones I didn’t mind her destroying
