I’m the owner of two bunnies who have bonded and get along very well with each other, and seem to be very healthy. We recently moved into a new home and have noticed that our younger and smaller rabbit, Momo, has lost quite a bit of hair around her eyes and some on her nose. Her behavior remains mostly unchanged because she’s always been more submissive and quiet compared to her partner, Bunbun, but every time we try taking her out of the cage she just wants to go back in.

I’m not sure if that’s related to the issue but we’re very worried for her well-being. Any other owners know what this could be? There’s no sign of weepy eyes, they just seem a little swollen, she’s still eating and drinking normally.

        Please help us!

          Can you post a picture?

Have you noticed excessive grooming coming from the other rabbit?

Ditto. Overgrooming was my first thought also.
