        I’ve tried running warm water over his butt area and tried to massage it our gently butt his skin under the clot tore a little and now I’m afraid to less with it at all. What should I do the clot is still there.

          Can you cut it out? Cut half of it, then try rinsing again? If not, a vet visit might be worth it to avoid further tearing of the skin

            I would see a vet. You do not want to perform any level of surgery on an unsedated bun. Besides, a tear in the skin in the bum area is far more prone to infection – a dose of antibiotics might be wise.
