        Hello everyone,

My rabbit Chacha is a free range rabbit and currently lives in extra large dog crate. I’ve spruced it up and she seems to love it however she doesn’t spend much time in there except to eat and do her business. She’s about to turn three so I thought it would be nice to get her a new cage. I came across a dog house by Boomer and George that I absolutely love. However, I’m not sure if the wood is safe for my little fur baby; the description says its weather proof finished fir. Here’s a link to the cage so you can read the description and see what it looks like. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks!

          That is tough!

At one point the ad says it has some kind of waterproofing then mentions that the wood is fir and it itself is weather resistant.

The company also makes rabbit hutches, they make those out of cedar. I question why they are constructed out of different woods – ?

          It’s really cute though….
