Hi. I have a 2 year old lion head rabbit. We went to the vet because of an eye invention not to long ago. Other than that he was perfectly healthy but the vet said he was just a little wheezy. I’m not sure if the wheeziness is getting any better. He has no dry mucius on the insides of his front paws but his nose feels about damp even long after he’s had a drink. His cage/ play pen is in our basement. The part he is in has no problems like floodings, bad smells, or anything. And it stays the same temp as the rest of the house pretty much all year. The basement living room is also down there, and then Rufus, my rabbit lives in the back room that is unfinished right behind the living room but not like THAT kind of unfinished. if you know what I mean. The Cellar doors are in front of the cage so he gets his sun while he’s down there and comes up to play daily, but the one flaw of the basement is that it’s dusty. Could this be why he is a little wheezy? If so how can I prevent this? Just by dusting down there?
