  I just got two female 8 week old netherland dwarfs. (They are in the same cage) The larger one, Lily, is eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping just fine. The smaller one, Rosie, is drinking water fine, but has eaten little to no hay and is eating her wood toys, her litter, and her aspen chip bedding. I tried alfalfa pellets and she won’t even eat those. I have been feeding them the hay I was instructed, Alfalfa hay, and Rosie just won’t eat it. I’ve tried putting it in her litter box, a toilet paper tube (she won’t eat the hay, just the tube), and in a traditional hay manger. At first I thought she wasn’t eating it because the manger is too high up for her little body to reach, but she won’t eat it no matter where I put the hay. The runny poop only began after I got her, and I got her a day ago, so i’m assuming it is from nervousness. How can I get her to eat her food? I am very worried.

  Hmm… this is troubling. What does her poop look like? Is it solid poops with mucus or liquid diarrhea? You say she isn’t interested in any kind of food, but wants to chew on wood and cardboard. This can actually be a sign of intestinal pain. Combined with the poop issues, it had me worried that your bunny could be sick. Parasites like coccidia have an incubation period.

  They can get a little bit of loose poop from stress so her only just having come home could be a factor. But that she is not eating is concerning. Have you got any of the feed they were on previously? You could try her with a little bit of plain rolled oats but do be careful not to overdo it.
  
  I recommend you get her checked out with a rabbit savvy vet. Things like coccidia or intestinal bacteria overgrowth is common in rabbits this age.

  Get her to the get ASAP. I dont mean like right now (but right now would be great) but within maybe a few days. This could be something bad. Take her to the vet as soon as you get the chance. This sounds like a parasite
