  Our bunny surprised us when she gave birth to 2beautiful babies 2 weeks ago.
  She was taking care of her babies amazingly well until 2 days ago when her companion passed away.
  
  We have been giving her lots of love and taking care of her but she is really quiet ever since. We also had to move her and the babies that day because our vet was worried that her companion had an infection and they could get infected if they were in the same cage he was. I think that also affected her but we had to do it.
  
  I haven’t seen her feeding her babies ever since and I’ve seen the babies trying to latch so many times and she just runs away. Is this normal? She still grooms them from time to time by the way.
  
  I’m afraid she is not feeding them so I have started weighting them to see if they are gaining weight. Is there another way to know?
  They just started eating hay 2 days ago as well but when I weighted them today I didn’t saw aNY increase in their weight. How much should a 2 week old bunny gain per day?

  Do you know if she is still lactating?
  You might have to put her up on a bench where she can’t run off and let them latch on for a short while. They shouldn’t need a lot and you wont want to overly stress her. The suckling alone will stimulate her to keep producing milk.

  Have they tried to drink water also?If they’ve grazed on solid food and had a bit of water to stay hydrated, this should help them for a day or two. The millk is rich and should sustain them. But they will still need milk again soon.
  
  Im sorry, I do not know how much they gain daily.
