I’ve had my two year old female rabbit since she was four months old. I got her while I was a junior in college, and she has always lived with me. When I graduated college in April, I moved back home to my parents’ house for the summer–with my bunny of course.
There are two family dogs who interacted with her the entire summer, and I’ve recently become really concerned about taking my bunny with me since I will be moving away to start grad school. I’m worried that my bunny will miss my family dogs. Do you guys think she could possibly be bonded to them? She feels completely comfortable with them, always lays down with them, follows them around, etc. So I’m worried that by taking her, she’ll become upset or depressed from their absence. I don’t know if I’m thinking too much into it, but I just don’t want her to be upset if I take her.
I of course want to take her with me because I love her and will miss her so much if I don’t see her everyday, but I don’t want to take her if it makes her upset. I can’t get another bunny/pet in my new place at the moment, so if I took her, it would just be her and I.
What do you guys think?
