Hello everyone… my bun chewed 3 phone cables/chargers and they dont work anymore. I was wondering can I let him have them so he can continue to chew on them and play? Or is it a bad idea?

        Thanks in advance for advice.

I’d take them away. The plastic is not a big problem but there is metal inside the cords and that could be harmful if he swallowed it.

Buns are terrible with cables =(

You are Lucky, I have the one bunny, he has chewed up 3 mobile phone chargers, a £100 microphone lead and a £150 headset, a litter tray and a plastic tunnel I bought him for his 3rd birthday, bunnies like to chew wires, my grandma told me that its because in the wild they like to keep their burrow or warren clear and if anything like weeds grow in front of there home they will chew it to keep it clear, so they see wires about and think, ‘What is this weed doing here?’ And chew it down, they don’t mean to be naughty, its just a natural thing.
