Golbez’s kittens are over 2 weeks old and like to hop out of their box to roam around my room. It is adequately bunny proof for a bun of Golbez’s size but I am worried they could easily slide under my door.
I read online that after they leave the nest it should be removed so they’ve since been moved to a box where they usually can’t get out though they tend to find a way sometimes that I can’t seem to see. Unless they’re just THAT good at jumping/climbing at this point in time. Main concern is that they won’t get fed just wandering around outside of the box + that they won’t be able to get back into the box where it’s warmer with all the other kittens. I work quite a bit during the day and like most people sleep at night. So were they to escape at a time I wasn’t around then several hours or more could go by and…yeah, I don’t know.
Anyways, just curious on how anyone else kept kits in one spot at all times when they are getting to the point that they are escape artists.
