I am getting  new holland lop in 2 weeks and have been looking into building my own “condo” using the metal storage squares. Does anyone know where to find them? I looked at Lowes, Home Depot and Target. Is there a specific brand that anyone uses that they prefer and know where to find them? TIA

I got my squares at walmart.com. I also got some at Amazon.com. They were the only places that I found that had the squares with the smaller openings. At the time I looked, Target only had the squares with the larger opening, and it’s advised not to use those.

Bed, Bath, and Beyond has a product called Grid Wire Modular Shelving and Storage Cubes. If you go to their site and search that term, there are several user photo uploads of that product used as rabbit and guinea pig habitats.

I agree with Odette, bed bath and beyond is a great place to get your DIY squares to make your cage.

They are the best price for the number of squares you receive (2 extra b/c of “divider shelves”) AND BB&B also constantly postage mails, emails, and circulates flyers with 20% off of your purchase coupons.
