Sorry for not replying earlier! But I didn’t really know how much hay she was getting as I posted the night of her arrival. I’m giving her about a 1/4 cup of her pellets as well as unlimited Timothy hay- it’s too many pellets for her weight but as I didn’t know how many she was getting fed I’m gonna slowly decrease it to an 1/8 cup, and I’m feeding her tiny amounts of veggies, like a couple shreds of lettuce and a couple small circle slices of carrots (the carrot was to lure her out of under my bed?). Again I’m not sure the quantities of veggies she was fed but I figured that tummy troubles coming from too little veggies would be less harmful than from too many. I don’t know the signs of pain in her gastrointestines but she has been binky a couple of times if her mood/energy contributes to that. Her poo is still small, dark, and hard and I’m hoping that will change soon when she’s eating 1/8 cup (aka 2 tbsps) of pellets and more hay/ less veggies (until she’s older.) I did take her to the vet and she thought she seemed healthy, and she looked at a poo sample and said she thinks they were so small because she is so small, and she basically just suggested lots of hay and such, so yeah.
