Is your rabbit neutered? That will have to be done before you can bring home another bunny. The new bunny will have to be spayed or neutered too, before you can attempt bonding. You have to wait a few weeks after spay and neuter surgery before you can start bonding. Bonding can sometimes be easy, but it sometimes takes weeks or months, and in a few cases, the rabbits never get along and have to be kept separately. You would have to make sure that you have room in your house to keep them in separate pens, if you were not able to bond them. You also have to know that you will have more expenses with two rabbits and be prepared for that. It is usually easier to bond a neutered male to a spayed female, but you can also bond rabbits of the same sex.

Rabbits do usually love to groom and snuggle with other rabbits, plus just having the companionship of their own kind. But there are some who are fine being the lone rabbit in the house.
