You could try placing a fan in the room (bunny proofed, of course) as well as one or more frozen water bottles wrapped in a thin towel (so they last longer) around the room on the floor – they will cool the air at floor level and your bun can get closer to them or farther away depending on how warm she’s feeling.

Rabbits can over heat easily which can cause strokes and some breeds are more likely to seizures when theyre warm. As Q8 said, youll want to add a few items to help cool the bunny down. If that doesnt work, you may have to consider putting the air conditioning on for a few hours to cool your little bun down

There’s a forum faq or sticky post that talks about keeping rabiits cool . They start to be stressed when air temperatures exceed 80 degrees F. Where I live temps are so far can be in the upper 80″s.  We have an electric fan. We place the fan outside their pen, blowing in, and they like it.  They lay in the air current.

BTW.  Our bunnies spend a lot of time in their pen.  The pen door is always open…24/7.  They are free to run anywhere in the house except the bedrooms at any time of the day. When we first got them, we used to let them loose in the house when we were here, and then locked them up in their pen at night or when we left the house, they just hated being made to go into their pen.  During these days, they would not want to be in their pen..We had to fight to get them back in their pen.  We finally gave up and let them roam 24/7 in the house. .Now, that the pen door is constantly open, they spend most of the day in their pen!
