Hello! I’m hoping one of you can help us identify our rabbit. In mid-March, my husband saw a small white rabbit hiding near some bushes on the side of a VERY busy road in the city where he works, so he rescued it and brought it home. We took it to the vet and learned it is a she and because she has nearly doubled in size, we know she was very young, but we have no idea of her breed. She really is awesome so I’m so glad we rescued her and I’m so mad at whoever got rid of her! In case of any of this info helps: she is very soft (softer than our two mini-rex rabbits), very friendly, and very active when she is out of her cage but very relaxed when she is in her cage. She binkies all the time, and is relaxed around us enough that after some laps around the room she will lay down right next to us. She loves to eat (which may or may not be a product of the fact that she was on the street for who knows how long and didn’t know where her meals were coming from) She has a lot of personality and will grunt if she thinks you are taking too long getting her food, or if you try and keep her from going someplace she shouldn’t be going. Her back feet are huge, and her ears are huge! After some research, I was thinking maybe she is an English spot with some non-traditional markings (she doesn’t have a butterfly marking on her nose)? Or a Rhinelander (but she only has one color of marking)? Three pictures of her are attached. I really have no clue. We have two mini rex currently, and I grew up with a Holland lop, so all I know is that she is neither of those.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!!
