  Olaf nabbed 2-3 pencil eraser sized pieces of crystallized ginger. I was chopping them up for a recipe and he was faster than I was to clean up the kitchen floor. I’ll keep an eye on him, but so far he’s eating and pottying fine. I’m asking more to know if ginger is safe to consume?

  From what i can see on google, it sounds like its not good for them, but as long as he didnt eat too much of it, he should be fine. As long as hes eating, drinking, playing, and passing his poops like normal i wouldnt worry too much

  I can only find it mentioned as an aphrodisiac for male bunnies, i e it helps them breed. It seems some people give their bucks ginger for that purpose. Which would point to it not being acutely poisonous in small amounts.
