Happy May 1st!!! White Rabbit White Rabbit White Rabbit
Here’s a pic of Bindi not looking impressed with my toddler trying to get him to babysit her baby…..

Oh my goodness I thought I was the only one who said white rabbit white rabbit! My mother keeps trying to convince me that it’s only rabbit rabbit…
Bindi is gorgeous, and a very superior and dignified bunny, I might add.
Is he shedding? Chomondeley’s fur is ruining all my dark clothes!
I just love Bindi Loo.
I’ve heard people say both “rabbit rabbi rabbit” and “White Rabbit”. I say “White Rabbit” because I love white rabbits.
Yes, Bindi is shedding right now. He’s so hard to groom with that long fur.
Pam- Of course, you do. He’s just so darn loveable. ![]()
Latte has some long white hair too, enough to gate crash this thread on white rabbits, he says…
Well, Jack is half a white rabbit! And gray to match the rainy days we’ve been having in NY.

???!!???
Can someone please explain – ( I thought it was “Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! ” ![]()
As VB said on chat, what you find out on BB
First I ever heard of this tradition, but someone must have known Podge would say it as his present arrived a few days early lol
Well well well !!! – NEVER heard that before !! LOL – I shall attempt to say it next month !!
Though I did get a text from my Mum yesterday (01/05) with PPTFOTM – which took me all day (and a clue) to get !!
Anyone….? ![]()
“pinch, punch, the first of the month”? That one was common at school, when I was a kid ![]()
Bindi Loo! ![]()
![]()
![]()
Here’s Yohio.
Yes, there’s hay in my bed. I’ve actually almost gotten kind of used to hay in my bed, and it’s only taken me a couple of years.

White loppy, White loppy White loppy! Bindi wants to start a new tradition.

“pinch, punch, the first of the month”? That one was common at school, when I was a kid.![]()
Oh well done! That HAS to be it.
Lol @ Latte. Silly piggy.
Oh Yohio! That’s a perfect impression of ciabatta. Or Limpa perhaps??
Jack looks so little there. How big is he? I had impression he was bigger for some reason.
Hello Bindi Loo! So nice to see you! ![]()
Hello Mimz, nice to see YOU. ![]()
Yes, Mimz! Very nice to see you!!!!
Yohio-I really want to pet you and kiss your head!!!!
Love Jack’s colouring. I named my Bridge Bun, Stormy because his harlequin colouring reminded me of the sky right after a thunder storm.
Cute piggy! I had a piggy with crazy hair. Love it!
Did somebody say “White Rabbit”?
.jpg)
@Jersey – he’s about 1.4 kgs. He’s my little guy.
I love that picture too! That face omg! White rabbit indeed.
****Nose Boop****
Choco asks ‘do I look angelic in this?’
Very much so
Yes indeed well done GJ !! we always add “And no returns” after it, but obviously Mum didn’t think I could “pinch” her back over a text !!
However, we also returned fire when I was a kid with : A kick and flick (physical contact obliged!!), for being so quick, and no returns ! nerrr ” followed by a quick 180 degree turn and a sprint !!!
Aww Choco. That’s so cute!
@Vienna, will you text your mum “ANR”? See if it leaves her confused lol.
Here’s a very dozy Jenny after a full day outside ![]()
Jersey – maybe not now, she may guess it on the 5th !! LOL
I’ll have to wait for another 1st ! (and remember to say bunny bunny bunny !!)
an oldie but a goodie, this was my son freckles. flopsy has tried to come out to the living room yet but, this was my baby boy. i dont think he was really fearful of anything..![]()

I’ll have to post some pics tomorrow.
Have we ever minded bun pictures. Especially so darn handsome.
Here’s a couple pics of Elvie Hammy. He got a new house recently, so I can actually get a few good pics of him.

Hammy lips!

Here’s a pic of Zane. I caught him snuggling with his stuffed bunny. ![]()

Recently, I participated in an art project called The Sketchbook Project. Artists from all over the country and world create a sketchbook, then the collection goes on a public tour across the country. The theme I chose was “familiar friends” so I did the book all about our animals. Here’s a couple pages from it.

That exactly
So many cute photos ![]()
Nice artwork too ![]()

Exactamundo! And Oh, the pic of Buddy-with-his-face-in-his-hands on top of Alli’s head!!!
I love hammies. I’m kidnapping Zane. And your sketches are beautiful!
Bam – he is a very needy snuggler. Be prepared to have your lap occupied for hours! ![]()
This thread made me realize that thanks to my insane work schedule I haven’t even taken out my camera in ages. Must remedy that. Adorabun inspiration!
At a pet show yesterday we were allowed to attempt to make Willow Balls from very long thin willow branches…
Here’s Zou with my offernig – looking more like Meduses’s head rather than a ball, but hey don’t think she cares ! ![]()

Don’t be so modest Azerane – we all know your willow ball was a perfect sphere that Zou demolished. ![]()
No no lol. The top photo shows the finished product. No sphere !! Lol sorry.
Jenny reminds me of my lovely Olivia.
Beautiful pics as always, MissD.
Here’s a recent pic of my Bindi Loo. I tend to not post as many pics since he is so scruffy looking. Still adorable, though, right?
He’s like a much loved teddy bear that needs a good wash. ![]()

Bindi definitely looks adorable ![]()
Jenny’s ‘You didn’t really catch me red-pawed, digging up the carpet’ face!
Bindi is THE most adorable, always.
Aww….thanks Bam ![]()
Here’s Yohio, peeking out from under the bed, hoping for a treat:

Give that bunneh a treat….STAT!!!!!
Peekaboo, Yohio! Peekaboo, snookums! ![]()
Bindi is the Starbucks King and he will charge you $6.95 for a coffee.

LPT: ROTFL ![]()
![]()
![]()
And he will DISAPPROVE!
Oh, Bindi! You are so cute!

Just had to share this photo – Theo has taken to eating his hay while levitating off the edge of his hay feeder. ![]()
What a goof ball – that can’t be comfortable!! Here’s another example;

Hahaha his little tail must have some antigravity engine we poor hoomans don’t know about.
Yohio is the sweetest peekaboo face.
And no words for Bindi the absolute ruler of the coffee price realm.
Oh, Theo, you thilly wabbit.
I have finally captured the elusive bunny yawn! Doesn’t Hazel look fierce? lol

I’ve been doing some rearranging in Hazel’s (my art room) room. She watches like a micromanaging supervisor. lol

And here’s my sister’s cat, Mordecai, trying to fool us into thinking he’s cute and innocent. ![]()

A Yawn !!! Hoorah well done BM !!
Yes it does happen so quickly …. well quick enough for you to realise “it” is happening and not even work out where the darn silly camera is before it’s all over !!!!!
This site needs a Monthly Caption Contest !!!
* BM – Could you start a thread with this one of ‘the’ yawn’ which imho should start it off….. I reckon we’ll get some wickedy inventive captions for it !! LOL
So these are the results of my Manual Exposure photo trials….. got some work to do huh !!
(There were about 10 photos taken between the ghost town (no, literally, it’s invisible!! LOL) and identifiable river !!!)

Well it’s better, but I’ve no idea how you guess – sorry, “know”! – what the settings should be without taking a whole memory card of photos…
It reminded me of playing Mastermind – do you remember? Having to guess the colours and order of the little round pins your opponent set up secretly. Guess once, then play by elimination….
I haven’t posted many photos of Aria so here is a blast of photos! She got a bout of Gi Stasis last week, but a trip for urgent vet care, meds and lots of love has her back to her normal self. Most of these photos are from this morning — two others are just a couple of older favorites that I may have posted before.
Ah! Morning Sunshine!

———————————-
Checking out the racket that the neighbors gardeners are making.
Aria is a good watch bunny!

————————————————
The last of a Nom Nom Nom- a hint of green gives it away.

————————————————-
“Okay, Now pet me please…please…pretty please.”

Lunch, Lounging and Looking (aka: The Bunny Guard).
Its a hard job,but some bunny’s got a do it!

Oh, Aria…..you are so B-U-T-ful!!!!!!! Thanks BB
BrunosMama- Love the stretch/yawn capture!
Theo-that is too funny and adorable!
BB: Can Chewie also apply for a job with ADT? His CV has heaps of pigeon-watching experience on it. ![]()
Lovely pictures here, BrunosMama that first one looks like my Olly when he has woken up from a deep sleep, I think it is bunny body language for, ‘Right I’m awake, now where is my treat?’

BB: Can Chewie also apply for a job with ADT? His CV has heaps of pigeon-watching experience on it.![]()
Sounds like Chewie would do a great job! ![]()
Aria is a beautiful watch-bunny! She must be the A in ADT.
Theo’s munching-position is quite original and wonderfully silly =)
Vienna, manual photography seems very, very, very difficult. I remember Mastermind.
Hi I would love to introduce my rabbit. This is the first rabbit I have ever owned, she is a french lop. She does not have a name yet (please send suggestions!) but I have had her for 3 days! She is very sweet and loving already. She is 9 weeks old and is going to be one big bunny!!

That last pic where she’s chinning whatever that is (sofa? legs?) is just darling.
Since she’s a French lop, I’d go with Amelie or Madeline ![]()
She’s beautiful!!!!! I like the idea of a french name too. Antoinette, Arielle, Bijoux, Isabelle,
I like Marie and Monet. ![]()
Marie– yes love that too. That’s my daughters middle name. ![]()
Roxie, soaking up the sun. ![]()

Q8bunny- I love the name Madeline! I cant believe I didn’t think of that! I used to watch that show all the time when I was a kid! Miss Madeline it is!!!
Awww, miss Madeline! She’s just adorable! Lovely coloring!
Yaaay! I too love the show. Yep. Present tense. Still have it and leave it on for Chewie when I’m busy writing. ![]()
Our morning routine consists of up at sunrise, make the bed (together), run and jump on the wooly rug until panting, and then stretch out on the same rug to read the BB forum. Today, however, Chewie didn’t feel like reading so he decided to flop right next to mommy – he must know it’s the last day of classes before exams week and summer break.

That rug makes great camouflage for Chewie ![]()
EVERY bunny-loving mama needs to check out this video of Homey, the English Angora dancing each time his mummy does a hop. It’s adorable!!
Hahahah! That was great! ![]()
Ok, I’m gonna go a little nuts. I’ve been neglecting my little darling when it comes to getting out the camera, so this morning he and I made up for some lost photo ops. ![]()

Cuteness overload, Q8!!
Chewie sure knows how to chill out ![]()
You didn’t need to put that brick there, mum….
…I wasn’t really tunnelling out!
Total cuteness over-load, Q8! How is it even possible to be as cute as that?
GJ, she was just looking to see what that strange new hole was all about. She’d never dig a tunnel. Never. Must’ve been moles. Or badgers.
Aww… thanks, Bam. Chewie says this is what happens when he doesn’t get photographed for a long time – he just stores up all that cuteness and then WHAMMY – hits mommy with it.
GJ, that’s not a tunnel. Jenny’s simply inspecting the condition of the grass roots.
(I’m new so hope you don’t mind me joining in).
Q8 – Chewie is just adorable, the one where he’s peeking out from under the curtain is lovely.
This is Brabham waiting for a smooth. Terrible quality photo from my phone I’m afraid but both bunnies just rush over and try and eat the proper camera if I ever try.

Brabham looks positively squishable!
Look at those sweet little paws. Ooof… this is exactly why we laugh off things like the buns eating our real cameras. LOL
Aww everyone has such cute rabbits! I swear I am addicted to this website because of all the cuteness!!!

Its fine to join in
the more cute bun pics the better
Brabham looks a real sweetie <3
Beautiful Pics, Q8Bunny!
GinaJenny- You were right to outsmart her. Never trust a bunny!
Squee!!! Brabham looks like a little toy!
I really must stop looking at adoption pages and just spend time looking at the BB pic threads instead. Much safer to fawn over rabbits that I know are in good homes! Such gorgeous bunnies on here. <3 Thanks for sharing your pictures!
I grabbed this pic off a facebook page. Pretty cool! A house rabbit of yesteryear. And a “rabbit-slave” that talked about them in her letters as there were no online communities. ![]()
If anyone is having difficulty reading it, I’ve put what it says underneath the picture.

” My rabbit Peter is so lazy, he lies before the fire in a box, with a little rug. His claws grew too long, quite uncomfortable, so I tried to cut them with scissors but they were so hard that I had to use the big garden scissors. He sat quite still and allowed me to do his front paws but when I cut the other hind foot claws he was tickled, & kicked, very naughty.
If he were a wild rabbit digging holes they would be worn down, & would not need cutting.
Here are some rabbits throwing snowballs. ” ~ Beatrix Potter
Winnie says IM BACK! After her spay last week, she is healed up and has returned to her mansion and binkying everywhere!!

.jpg)
Yay Winnie ![]()
Jerseygirl – Your’re so right, I have had to stop looking at the rescue centres as well, I get so upset and I’m under strict orders that we can’t have more than two bunnies. My other half says that if we have three, one might feel left out, I said we’ve room for four but that didn’t work either.
Q8 and Littlepuffytail – Brabham is a very sqishable bunny and he does look just like a cuddly toy but he thinks he’s a big scary bear when we try and get him to stop doing something naughty. Growling, grunting and flashing of teeth. Of course he’s so small it’s still cute!
Winnie is just adorable.
Woohoo Winnie!
Jersey: I love that picture. She was such a lovely person, wasn’t she? ![]()
Rhubarbcrumble, 2 really is ideal though. I sort of miss the days when I had a bonded pair that were completely free range. I have 5 rabbits now. When more come, there is more territorial marking and separating them into zones. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love the bunnies that have come to live with me after the original pair, but I do miss the simplicity. By the way, love the username. Mum used to make rhubarb crumble every now and then.
@Q8, I think Beatrix would have fit right in here on BB!
I just had to share: One of my lovely AP students showed up with a giant gift bag and lots of hugs, thanking me for her senior English year and my help with getting into the uni of her choice. She’s a slave to three buns of her own – in fact we share a bunny vet. These were my prezzies (and I LOVE them!
).

Sorry… I have no idea why they inserted sideways and I can’t figure out how to rotate them.
It’s OK, it’s just that everyone who is looking at their screen has tilted their head to the left !!! LOL
Now that is ONE thankful girlie student !! Wow !! One pressie would have been nice, but ALL that?! She’s going to remember you ALL her life !
And I’ve already seen the bunny ears ring-holder, and love it too!
Awwww @ Winnie!!!! Love the name too, I have a baby named Winnie too. She’s a bit bigger, though. Like 800 lbs bigger…
Q8Bunny- Great presents. You must be an awesome teacher!!! I have a similar ring holder but it’s silver. I love it. ![]()

The moonball… That’s a bit of the base of romaine lettuce.
Fiona!! Major squee! How.Adorable.
Oh my goodness, Fiona! Moony’s looking even cuter than before. ![]()
Fiona, he’s SO pretty!
Crashley, so glad to hear she’s back to her true self
Rhubarbcrumble, Brabham is adorable. He looks like a little toy!
Q8, what a lovely student
Here’s Yohio trying out his new outdoors run:

He looks nice and relaxed in there ![]()
Is there any room in there for me? Yohio looks like a cuddly little teddybun in the first picture. ![]()
Yohio IS a cuddly little teddy-bun! He and I cuddle a lot =)
GJ, he did seem to enjoy it! Hopped around and explored everything, ran through the tunnel, didn’t hide in his wooden crate but sat and listened and sniffed the air, then he ate an apple-twig with leaves.
No I think the first photo looks my ceramic bun in the garden (someone bought it for me…. ^^ ).
Same colour, same head angle ! ![]()
Bam, have I ever told you how two of my students are obsessed with Yohio? The musician, not the bunny. ![]()
Jerseygirl – You have 5 bunnies together, that’s amazing. Must be a lot of cleaning up time there! Rhubarbcrumble is my favourite pudding, closely followed by pineapple upside down cake…
Fiona – That last picture of Moony is irresistible, just when you think they can’t get any cuter!
Bam – Yohio is gorgeous and a really unusual colour. Is he friends with your dog?
No, not all together.
I have 2 pairs and a single boy.
Hello Yohio! ![]()
Bam, Yohio DOES look like a perfectly proportioned soft toy, all the way down to his cute little footsies!
Q8, I thought Yohio the musician was gone from the scene sts. He must be like 18 ys old now or sth, he can’t possibly keep his girly figure for much longer =) My Yohio is named after him, he was on TV a lot back then, and that + hatchiki were like the only Japanese names I could think of when I found him. (My Yohio is a Japanese harlequin color-wise). Hatchiki can only ever be a dog though, goodness how that film made me cry!
Rhubarb, Yohio and my dog are friends. They have a sibling-like relationship with Effi (dog) as the older sister who sometimes just can’t be bothered with the silly little ones. But the buns really like to hang out with her when she lets them.
Btw, your username reminds me I must make rhubarb crumble this week-end, the rhubarbs are beautiful right now =)
L4B: Yohio says thank you for the compliment!
Bam: The teenagers I teach are super into “retro” now. They’ve revived even older teen idols than Yohio. lol
And yes, Hatchiki is a heartbreaker. ![]()
I was forced to watch that dog movie in school…
My friend and I where BAWLING. Never watch that movie!
Fiona- Stunning!!!
Yes, I want to snatch up Yohio and just hug and kiss him!!!!!
Hatchiki ?… please explain…. ![]()
I think it’s Hachiko, at least that’s the dog name I know from a super sad movie.
YES! Thanks, Azerane. I thought it sounded a bit off when I read and then replied to the post, but it was late evening here and I’d totally had a glass of heady red wine. Plus I was so giddy from thinking about Richard Gere.
![]()
Yes, it’s Hatchiko, sorry. Vienna, cant believe you haven’t seen it, it’s about a dog’s love for his owner (Richard Gere). And it’s heart-breaking.
Today it was Bam’s turn to be outside:

The grass is very yellow, but there will be rain tonight. Bam is not as photogenique as Yohio, because he’s black. But he’s got tons of charm!
Nope never heard of it !! Hachiko = Hatchi in France apparently – even so – 2009 – read the synopsis (can you have a film “synopsis” or is that only books?) and already I can see why so many tears would be shed – and with Mr Gere… golly me !! ![]()
I cry every time I watch that movie :'(
You have to see it, Vienna. You love dogs. I’ve seen it twice. I cried both times. Doubt if I’ll watch it again anytime soon, it was really exhausting. Based on a true story and all that. And Richard Gere.
I’ve never heard of that movie either. I hate sad movies and usually chose not to watch them. I find it hard to shake them off after.
Watson (white) and Willow (harlequin) got some outdoor time to enjoy the Maine weather. We moved back here from Georgia in October last year. They seem to enjoy the better temperatures and lack of fire ants.

W&W are so stinkin’ cute! How can you stand it?
And Bam, your namesake is photogenic – he’s like a handsome little inkblot on the grass. ![]()
Watson and Willow are beautiful! i would think maine weather is more to a bun’s liking than Georgia weather. Although I recently read that the European rabbit (domestic rabbits come from European rabbits) stems from Spain, where the weather can be pretty hot.
Bam is very cute irl, with pics though, I often have to add arrows and explanatory notes. (“The black blob in the corner is actually a rabbit”). He’ll never get lots of followers on Insta =(
I will find out if any friends have Hatchi on DVD….. and prepare the Kleenex….
If not, lemme know Vienna and I’ll put a copy on my Google Drive and PM you the link. ![]()

I don’t do instagrams but I understand the photo probs with a dark bunny, Bam. Thor is very difficult to see in photo’s unless I put the flash on. And even then, I will say something like, “His eyes are in there somewhere”.
However, Thor’s shiny black coat and bold disposition are what initially caught my attention.
Lol yes I see the problem. Black bunnies must be something close to the black hole, no light (or treat in that matter) escape their gravitational pull.
Yes!! That is Thor, Niamian.
Thanks Q8 !! (Though I have NO idea what you just said there, I sound like my mother !!!) LOL

Here is Miss Madeline… standing guard in front of her pen and toys during floor time. She stands up a lot.. however I have never seen her flop or in a relaxed position. Shes very odd, but I love her!
Haha love her beautiful ears!
Atteeeeeeen-TION !!!
Bigbunnies, I love lops with long ears. I was so close to adopting a French Lop (not sure which type yours is)! The bunnies with quirks are even funnier.
I found it! – I thought she reminded me of somebun… of course it’s the Zootopia bunny-cop !! There are some scenes where her ears go right back flat….
![]()
Officer Hopps! ![]()
Yes she is a french lop! She is 11 weeks old so shes pretty small right now, but she is very funny! She loves to lick people shes so nice! I am now going to have to look up this Zootopia thing, I have never heard of it!
I love everyones pictures! Bunnies are so cute!!!!
