Haha, I am very familiar with this, as well as being pummelled by a grunting rabbit during feeding time, like LittlePuffyTail expressed. Oftentimes, familiar sounds or routines will be enough to flip a switch in my rabbit’s brain. In dogs, excitement can easily morph into aggression, but I am not sure about bunnies.
Unless she’s actually biting you (which can happen in a food frenzy – think Vampires and Twilight and all that :p), it’s nothing to worry about, in my opinion. Bossiness is a common experience for me. Thor (neutered) grunts when he’s hungry, annoyed, excited, impatient (it all depends on what’s going on at the time). I used to worry that Crysta would get hurt when Thor chased her away for first dibs at meal times, but after the initial scuffle, he settles down and eats with her politely – it’s just that he wants it first, which creates that excitement and possessiveness.
