I know rabbits like to sleep more durning the day so he doesn’t really drink nor wees in the day time, however when evening comes he drinks up 600ml water until the morning. He is also litter trained but as he wees in there and around it when it gets full (obviously I dont wake up durning nights to clean it) so he wees around and it’s basically half of his cage full of wee. Would it be signs of kidney problems? We starting to get a little worried about him and vets sometimes just trying to rip moneu of people so we havent condsier bookong an appointment. Unless its just me being worried as the other rabbi (younger female) she doesnt seem to drink more then 300ml nor she wees a lot.

It can be signs of kidney problems. But it can also signify very many other things. How much does he weigh and how old is he?

Yes we consider in mind kidney problems but before we take him to the vet , just see if anyone had similar problems. Hes 9 months and i assume weighs about 2.5kg we havent weight him since he was a baby

He should then drink 250 – 375 ml water per 24 hours. But it can vary a lot depending on diet. I think we have some people here who’ve had similar problems, I hope they’ll see your thread.

Sometimes its even more than 600ml which only started happening 2-3months back i started researching as it didnt seem normal. He has a various of veg bowl in the morning and 1 and 1/2 egg cup of pellets at night , throughout the day occasionally they get treat or a fruit. I know he also gets some minerals from his veg but the amount of water he drinks at nights its horrific, there’s times he drinks twice in 30mintues. What other problems rather then kidneys could it be?
