For the past 2 weeks-ish I’ve been letting both my lil bunnies have almost free range of my entire room. I slowly expanded their “territory” to avoid them being overwhelmed with the new space. However, since this afternoon, Luna suddenly started going on my carpet. Nothing has changed, so I am worried. They weren’t introduced to anything new in their environment: I’ve been using the same hay for a month now, they get the same free ranging area everyday, their litter box is the same (for the past 2 weeks), the litter is the same (for the past 2 weeks) and I didn’t do anything new except vacuum my room a lil bit to get rid of stray hay. Venus always goes in the litter box and so did Luna until today. What’s going on?? I took them to the vet a few days ago because luna felt sooo skinny even the vet noticed she’s underweight. As a precaution, he gave me antibiotics for parasites but I later found out after fecal analysis that both rabbits don’t have any parasites. Can it be because she isn’t spayed yet? The doc said she’s too skinny to be spayed so that I need to make her gain weight within the next month before she can get spayed. I’m so worried… is it hormones or is something wrong with her? I’m already so sad about her underweight-ness and now this….. It’s stressing me out so much…
