You might have to groom him more often if hes a big shedder. Is he neutered? If not, that will definitely help out with the abnormal pooping areas. If he is neutered, pooping where he shouldnt could be a sign of stress or territory. If hes still eating, drinking, and acting normal i wouldnt worry too much. It sounds like the hair could be causing him an upset tummy. I would start by grooming him more often and monitoring his poops and where hes pooping. If its still abnormal after a week or so of more grooming, i would take him to the vet just in case. A lot of rabbits dont show signs of being sick when they are actually sick

I wanted to add too that i have anxiety as well! We trained one of my bunnies to become my emotional support animal and got him certified a few months ago so now i can take him around with me in public. Its very nice having him around, and the training we did helped us get a lot closer. Now when im anxious around the house, he runs up to me and pokes me until i pet him. While out in public, he sits in a bunny sized purse with ice packs, hay, and greens, and if im nervous he will poke me so i pet him. It helps a lot more than it might sound. String of pearl poops are quite common to see a couple of times per day during a shed. Bandit was also a heavy shedder and I brushed him at least once or twice a day and would still get string of pearl poops. They are generally regarded as a positive thing because it means that the gut is working like it should. The poops are still the normal size, shape and correct distance apart so things are still moving along as they should.

When you see the double poops, it means that things have slowed down a bit and two poops have collided. They’re not a good thing to see but they’re also not particularly uncommon during shedding and I wouldn’t be worried about seeing one or two of these daily during a shed. In the grand scheme of things, a single double poop out of 300 poops in a day isn’t a big deal, especially if there’s still plenty of binkies and playing going on. If you’re seeing large numbers of double poops, a decrease in activity and appetite, then I would start to worry. But I think you’re fine

Sorry Fosterish, just jumping in here cos I think Mikeys emotional support bunny is a great idea. My 2 bunnies and 2 chihuahua’s have been a HUGE comfort to me, and even though I don’t suffer with a G.A.D., things would’ve been much different without them.
