Thanks you guys! Her procedure went very well. I have an awesome vet who has a passion for rabbits (has been owned by one of her own in the past). We dropped Roza off at 9am, she was done being spayed by noon and then the doctor had one of the vet techs holding her for at least an hour until she was done in recovery and hopping around. They said she was eating hay and was doing fine when we took her home at 5pm. Then she stopped eating when we got home. They sent me home with an animal heating pad and I let her have some chill time, and she still wasn’t eating. I gave her her pain meds and called the doc and she told me to give her critical care and we will talk in the morning. I was able to give her the five syringes she said to, so I am glad about that. I just hope she is eating by morning. Either way, we will do what we have to do. The doctor also noticed Roza’s genitals had some blisters on them and she has urine stain. I advised her that she has been a sprayer in the past and she said that could be it, but that she could also have syphilis(I learn something new everyday). She tried to get blood from Roza today (she was going to do a full panel of blood testing for free so she could calibrate the office machine for rabbits) but she just couldn’t get a good stick. So, she is going to do more research on it since she’s never actually treated a rabbit that has it yet and will follow up in a couple weeks so she can also check on Roza’s incision.

Please keep your fingers crossed that she eats some of the greens and/or hay I left in her cage tonight.
I also only got about two hours total sleep in the past two days. I’m exhausted and since there’s nothing I can do until morning, I’m heading to pass out.

I am super lucky to have the vet I have. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and keeps up to date on everything. She sent me home with a snuggle pad to use for Roza, so she’s covered there. She’s on metacam for the next 5 days and the vet did say to increase it because she thinks she’s not eating because of the pain. So, I did increase it and I will give that dose again this evening. I syringe fed her CC twice today and I am getting ready to do feeding #3. I did see that she started nibbling on her greens and drinking water, but not nearly enough so I’m going to supplement and see where we are for feeding #4 tonight. If she’s still not eating tomorrow I will have to bring her back in so the doctor can give her some heavier meds and get her eating. 

We are waiting the two weeks to address the blisters because the doctor wants to make sure it is not hormonal or something else that will stop due to the spay. I can’t check it myself because we are still not on good enough terms for me to see/feel her belly yet. The feedings are bound to bond us for sure though    She is still being a complete love bug even between syringes, so I think she gets I’m not trying to hurt her.
