Reply with the strangest thing your bun has eaten…

        Mine has eaten:

        An entire couch

A drop of lotion right out of the tube

        Some scotch tape

Your bunny ate an entire couch!?

My bunny hasn’t really eaten anything that isn’t bunny safe so unfortunately (or is it fortunately lol) I cannot contribute. What a funny thread.

As some of you may know, Redfor had few bits of smoked sausage few days ago.

                      Well…

My bunny’s eaten a HUGE piece of plastic. I freaked out and I couldn’t sleep that night because I thought he was going to die. But when I saw him in the morning, he was perfectly fine and happy. Whew!

                      He occasionally eats hair.

I accidentally fed him a little bit of ice cream. At that time I didn’t know he wasn’t supposed to eat ice cream!

He’s eaten bits of gummies, and some jello too.

                      We feed him odd things.

Oh, and he took a bite out of my bag and ate it, he ate part of an eraser (I have no idea when – I’m walking around “his place” and I see a shredded eraser!), and ate a bite of a pair of leather shoes.

He actually ate these, not ripped off.

My boy Bindi is obsessed with eating dry cat food. He always snatches it if I haven’t taken up the cat’s bowl. Really weird considering he is pretty fussy with food.

Yuck! I can’t stand the smell of cat food, how does he EAT it?

                            Gross….

Well the dry stuff is not so bad. The cat food I use is a holistic type and it has no smell at all. Bindi loves it….when I let him out the cat bowl area is the first place he checks out. And if I forgot to pick up the bowl, he gobbles up as much as he can before I take it away.

My friend was eating some rabbit stew… And Chom decided to taste it…. And go back for seconds. Little cannibal.

Speckles…. She instead loved to munch on the memory foam of my mattress. the moment we discovered it she was blocked from the bed permanently, and she was fine after the tasty snack. >.<

Hmm… TB beef soft taco supreme, grilled fish, bean & veg soup, beef cabbage rolls, turkey & cheese & sriracha sandwich, toblerone, cornflakes with yogurt, shrimp pasta, polenta with feta, and my Havaiana flipflops.

No, I am not trying to off my bun. He’s just very determined. As in… he will literally launch himself from one end of the sofa to the other, grabbing food on its way from the plate to my mouth and bolting to gobble it up under the sofa. But *touch wood* he’s never pooped a mushy raisin in his life.

I know. I should probably eat at the dinner table more often.

Yohio doesn’t eat very strange things, just a lot of things. Bed sheets, bags, wallpaper, cable covers, shoes, towels. You put sth on, there’s a new hole in it, you have no hard evidence, all you have a prime suspect. With a forensics lab I bet I could prove his guilt, but as it is, I can’t do an analysis of saliva or teeth-marks that would hold up in court. So he gets away with it. (Yes, I’ve just watched season 4 of Suits. And daily re-runs of The Good Wife.)

With Remus it’s cat food >.< we are in a running battle with the cat food right now, actually. He doesn't like a lot, just a couple morsels of it then is happy if i can't get it up and in the autofeeder before he finds it. Potato chips. Dropped one and the lil terror grabbed it and munched before i could get to it o.O Am now very careful with those and the cheese puffs (he's eyeing those as well). And he has a thing for the sofa. Another running battle there I will win LOL

Thor took a small nibble out of a brand new pair of expensive leather shoes I vowed I would never leave in the rabbit room. That was a “DARN IT!” moment, because I spaced, he went all quiet, and I think I was bending down to refil the water bowl, and I turn around and my shoe was never the same.

I hide all my cords behind a wooden barrier. My phone is plugged in and charging safely, but then I pick up the phone and half a chewed cord with it, which *somebunny* had chewed mid-charge. Thor was at my feet, looking up at me like “Hang on Mum, I’ve just started on this electrical snack…”. Freaked me out but he seemed fine.

I had a perfectly preserved cage setup for Thor. A year later, in waltzes Crysta, and there goes the expensive haybox, the two pristine rugs, the BB cottage, the BB maze, the whole kit and caboodle. Thor takes the baseboards, cords, carpets, and furniture, and Crysta takes everything else that moves.

Nothing weird, just all the good stuff.

Yesterday, I was using the computer on the floor (the tables were taken) and I was listening to something on headphones. Bunny comes, and decides he’s interested in the headphone cord. I didn’t notice him, and one quick nip broke the headphones. Sigh. They were good headphones, too. And he’s bit and broken several printer cords. He bit the laptop cord as well, but it hasn’t broken (yet). He bites too many cords, but I really don’t know how to stop him!

Bonnie enjoys scratching, then eating the carpet.  The ends of my carpet has those fringy-tassles, and she just loves to chew away…
