  Woke up this morning to a sad rabbit, small poops, mucus poops in her litter box.
  i called the vet freaking out asking what I should do.
  
  Gave her a lot of hay and veggies, leaving for class now. I hate to leave her but it’s only an hour and a half and right down the road. Her appointment is at 4:30.
  The vet says since she’s still eating things that she should be fine until then and to not leave her un attended for long. I don’t have much of a choice here. I can’t miss class or i’ll lose financial aid and have to leave college. I’m worried sick.

  Harlow has been put on critical care and my vet advised me not to leave her alone for too long until she starts to eat and poop regularly.
  She had a very hard time last night with the syringe feeding, letting most of it go right out of her mouth. But I’m trying really hard and I’m going to keep trying to get her on track again.

  It’s practically always like that when you syringe-feed a bunny. It feels like most of the CC ends up on the bunny, your clothes and sometimes even on the furniture. But it does get easier with practice.
  Make sure she’s warm enough, they tend to go hypothermic really quickly when they’re unwell. Keep her in your knee with a blankie on her or give her a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel. They need warmth to keep their metabolism up, and it can be tricky, it’s not enough that the room-temp is good.

  Poor Harlow. I’m sorry she’s having a hard time. Do they know whats going on? Did she get an infection from the spay?

  Harlows tummy has just been upset by it all. She did so much better taking her medicine today. We’re feeding her some water and her food through the syringe. She is very lovey today. She took her last dose of pain medicine this morning and has been eating a lot of hay on her own.
  
  I went to the store and got her a water bowl hoping she will like that too. She’s doing a LOT better today
