I dnow where they came from. All of a sudden Baby Girl was twitching and itchy, took her to our bun vet…fleas. did 4 months of Revolution (vet said she doesnt trust anything else for buns since they are so small and sensitive. They are still there! Not AS bad and not behind her little head moved down to her butt area. she LOVEs being groomed so flea comb and brushing ALREADY about 8 times a day, shaved her with clippers so i could comb easier. Flea bombed. MOVED to a brand new APT, washed everything in boiling water ETC….I am out of ideas. We are very clean, she doesnt go outside….idk… shes a pure bred holland lop so i thought trimming her hair down would help with poopy butt and cut down on any strings of pearls and i was right about that..and I lint roll her when i see excess fur sitting on top….but those little bastard fleas!!! vet said to keep doing what i am doing but i feel terrible. SORRY SO LONG!!!!!!!

Chiming in because I had this exact issue. Revolution has failed to work this year. Some say it’s a new superflea others that the product has just stopped working and the fleas are immune to it. My vet had me use Advantage instead and it worked immediately. Advantage Cat or Advocate Cat are both fone and the dosage is the same as Revolution though the active ingredient is different. My poor Piglet developed a shocking flea allergy and started loosing fur so I had no other choice but to use it. I will get you the ingredients, dosage and pack images.

Use a small 1ml dosing syringe to apply. Weigh your bunny then draw up 0.1 ml per kg of body weight. I.E. 2 kg rabbit = 0.2 ml applied to the neck/shoulder area.

These are the only other safe product. Do not use Frontline or any others, they are toxic

In addition to trying the Advantage that Roberta mentioned, make sure that you keep the house well vacuumed and when you dispose of the bag or empty the cup if it’s bagless, do that outside.

You can also buy flea traps at hardware or home improvement stores, or make your own. They might not help a lot, but any help would be good. Here are the instructions for making your own: http://www.geeksonpets.com/how_2252856_make-flea-trap.html
