  Philomena loves me. I have special “Mummy Only Privileges” such as I can pet her when shes in her cage, I’m the only one she will let kiss her head, and I’m the only one she will chin on a regular basis. However, she has this thing where she loves to groom my roommates pants. The texture of the pants doesn’t matter. She grooms jeans, fuzzy pants, and yoga pants, all of which I have worn as well. But I do not get groomed. What gives? Does she only chin me to mark me as her food giver? Does she let me kiss her head even though the feeling isn’t mutual? Why don’t I get any loving grooms?

  Since you mention its only pants, are you sure theres no crumbs or anything on the pants? Like if you eat or wash your hands and quick wipe your hands on your pants, there will be left over food/water/whatever transferred to the pants. The bun might be licking that

  There’s really no telling with buns. I don’t know what this means, so I can only guess. She might be a little wary of your room-mate and by licking her pants, she tries to appease this person that she doesn’t fully trust. Whereas she feels safe with you and doesn’t feel the need to “suck up” to you.
