I have a five month old male Holland Lop. He had a little trouble gaining weight at about 2months. I thought he was doing well, as he eats well and has grown. However, my food scale today says he’s 2.1 lbs. I’m guessing he will still fill out some, but I cannot find any information online about what a normal size would be for his age. Is he normal, small, or so little I should be concerned? Thanks!

I have a Holland lop.  Not sure how much he weighs but  he’s small,  Google says the standard is 3-4 lbs.  As long as he’s eating (and good quality food), he should be fine.  If you are worried, you should take him to a vet though.

A grown up Holland lop should weigh about 4 pounds, but I don’t know what a 5 month old should weigh. Does he seem skinny? Some individuals have a slighter build than others so you can’t always judge by the weight only.

He will fill out some more, before he’s done growing. Here’s a little guide to bunny weight and body shape: http://www.therabbithouse.com/diet/rabbit-weight.asp
