  Our rabbit Buttercup suddenly has two small bumps right above her eye today. They are on her skin and are clearly visible through her black fur. She has never had anything like this before. We recently started to give her pellets with her normal diet of hay and fresh veggies could this have something to do with the bumps? See picture below. I am very worried please help.

  I doubt the pellets could have anything to do with it-but what type are you feeding? Did you introduce gradually?
  
  Any other symptoms?
  
  You might head to the vet, in case it’s mites or something else going on.

  Sorry about the picture. Yes we just give her a small bit mixed in with her normal food currently. It is Hartz Rabbit food. I have not noticed any other symptoms she is grooming frequently, eating and drinking well, feces is normal. Our rabbit vet isn’t back until April, but I am very concerned. I will keep researching and hopefully she may recover on her own.
  
  She is our first pet rabbit therefore I am very conscious of doing the right thing and I hope that this is it.
