My bunnies are still pulling up the foam
Puzzle pieces! I Gave them more things to
Play with and they still choose to pull it up..i
Think they haven’t eaten any of it but i don’t want
Them doing that anymore. What should we do?

I don’t think you can really do anything but change the flooring. I had to remove it after a few days because my bun wouldn’t stop pulling up the connecting tabs and chewing them off.

My suggestion would be to cover the flooring with something, if you find it provides something useful. (Mine bang their cage so I’m thinking of buying puzzle pieces to dampen the noise.) Best to cover it with something continuous like lino or a rubber mat.

Mine have been chewing the edges of their rubber mat when they can push their cage beyond it, but it’s otherwise intact.

It is just easy to clean and sweep. They don’t like hard wood flooring so i don’t think linoleum would be helpful. They are getting used to hard wood tho. I put alot of cardboard down over it and can throw it out if they pee on it and get new pieces

How about using cardboard (since your bunnies are okay with it) and covering it with lino? As weird as it sounds, lino isn’t super slippery. Tapestry rugs have minimal pile (didn’t work for my girl) but might work for your kiddo’s. Essentially, you could take anything soft, like carpet, and cover it with a waterproof surface, similar to previous suggestions.

I have a lot of cardboard over the foam puzzle pieces. They only tear up a little bit then get bored and chew on their blocks (like they are supposed to ) LOL
I moved arount their litter boxes and there is less poop on the floor and NO PEE!! YAY So I hope that worked and I didn’t put any hay in their house. only cardboard under the cardboard house. And a bunch of crinkly cardboard paper and Paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls so they can jump in and play or do whatever. since I removed the hay. there is NO PEE on the floor of the house . only a little poop pellets LOL Which is OK I guess. And now they have more room to run because I moved everything up against the walls .

their room has been moved around since then but this is the foam mats. they only chewed a few puzzle pieces..just in the middle of the puzzle piece but they chewed and spit out the pieces of it. chewed to where the wood showed and it was only a little bit showing. I still replaced them so maybe they wouldn’t chew on it anymore. then I turn around and they chewed a piece off of the one I had just put down!!  ugh. at least they aren’t chewing all over.
