So I tried bonding my rabbits a while back ago and we just ran into so many bumps, we took a break for a while I’d say it’s been about 6 months. The way they’ve lived that whole time is one of my rabbits lives in half of the house that connects to the room he stays in over night and when we’re not home, and my other rabbit lives in the other half of the house. 

Recently right at the division, where there’s a dog fence, my two rabbits for the first time have started laying next to each other, by the fence, side by side! It’s really cute to see and it made me want to maybe try bonding them again in the future.

What I was wondering was if anyone had any good tips on how to go about bonding when in this situation? When we tried to bond them before they didn’t really like each other and now they’re being friendly. Although I think my rabbit Scamper is still a little territorial because my other rabbit Millie got out of her side of the house once and when she came to Scamper’s room he growled at her when she came near his pen.

Any advice on how to start bonding anew again is greatly appreciated !
