  Hello,
  
  I’ve been noticing my boys both starting to have small spots of white urine. I googled it of course and began thinking it was the sludge right away, I may have jumped to conclusions but took my one to the vet right away because he was not acting himself. Xray and exam was done, ($491 later) with no problems found. he was put on antibiotics in case of a UTI.
  
  Their diets both consist of Oxbow Essentials for pellets at night (a little under half a bowl) and 24 hour Oxbow Western Timothy hay access. Some treats consist of kale, cilantro, and parsley. obviously not all together, i’m actually scared to give them too much greens because of calcium.
  
  IF ANYONE HAS ADVICE I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT!! I’m in a lot of panic over my babies showing strange signs I’m not familiar with and the vet telling me bring them both in as everyone knows ain’t the cheapest thing in the world.

  Calcium is normal. If there is extra calcium in their system, they pee it out the get rid of it. It usually isn’t anything to worry about unless it is thick and sludgy. From those pictures, it just looks like normal calcium deposits that were left behind when the pee dried.

  I totally agree with LBJ. Rabbits are pecular in that sense, that they eliminate excess calcium via their urine. Most mammals do that via the feces. Heres an article that has a really good pic of bladder sludge + pics of normal bunny pee:

  Thank you both! What a relief! I sometimes just get so confused about too much, too less calcium it drives me crazy. The website with the visuals is great!!! Iuse another one to test their poop too, so definitely very helpful!!!
  
  And yes, the boys eat the Oxbow Essentials Adult.
