So for those of you who don’t know, on May 26th, 2015 we rescued two German Shepherd/Husky mix sisters. They were in bad shape, starving and covered in their own feces and urine. They had been separated from their mother way too soon and at only 8 weeks old (when we got them) they had developed bad food aggression and one is still scared of new people (Tilly). The woman who bought them didn’t want them anymore and was going to sell them to a man who was going to train them to be fighting dogs
or if the guy ended up not buying them, drop them off into the woods to fend for themselves (and eventually die).
My father who was working on the house for the man who owned it, said if she wanted the puppies to go to a good home to call him. She immediately just handed over the two poor puppies. We named them Tilikum (Tilly is what we always call her though) and Paris. They are now most likely full grown. They’ve grown a lot since we’ve had them, both in size and character. I am so glad we found them and they didn’t end up in illegal dog fights. I am excited and am looking forward to Tilly getting over her fear of new people. Anyway, here are some pics of the precious pups!
(Sorry for poor quality, my camera is broken and they were hanging out in the utility room. A tiny room with bad lighting…)
Here’s Paris and Zero (Siberian husky, turning 6 in a little over a week!

Tilly: Had to wake her up from her nap for that one. She wasn’t too pleased, LOL!
