Hi everyone,

I am a very devoted bunny mummy to two mini lops, Bramble (male) and Blossom (female). I’ve had them for 10 months, and they are nearly 1 year old. They are from the same litter and have always been totally in love, absolute best pals. Bramble got ill with GI stasis last week and spent two nights at the vet, without blossom. Since he’s been back they’ve been fighting, really fighting. We’ve managed to stop lots of fights before they really start, and quickly end any that get going, so no major injuries yet but fluff everywhere and it’s just so horrible. I’m trying everything I can to rebond them, but I’m really stuck because sometimes they groom each other and cuddle up and are fine for hours, then there’s a massive fight out of nowhere. We have bought a second hutch so they are safe at night or when we are at work, and we push both hutches close together so they still see/smell each other. They seem best under supervision in a very small area that they didn’t used to go in. Can anyone please help? Will they be friends again? And how will I ever know when it’s safe for them to live together?
