I know that bunnies need lots of toys and things to keep busy and stay out of trouble, and I have lots of them, but Ginger seems to get tired of the ones I have very quickly. I have dozens of different boxes and cardboard scraps as well as cat houses and other toys. I know that you have to switch out toys and boxes often, but it takes up a lot of room to store them. Are there any toys and cheap ideas for her? I have read tons of things but none of them really seem to work. Is there a way I can incorporate hay with them too? She lives in my bedroom and it has carpet so keep that in mind. Also, are there any tips for housetraining? Ginger is really good about peeing in her litter box, but when she is out she won’t go in the one that is in her house. There is a total of three in my bedroom. She only really uses two though. One in her house and one outside. She poops everywhere though. I have trained her to mostly poop in one area, but she will not do it in the litter box. I can’t let her run around the house more until that problem is solved or mostly solved. I know they poop often, but I feel like there should be some training that will help. The last thing is that she doesn’t really let me pick her up. I know that generally rabbits don’t like to, but it is nice to take her places while carrying her. She really struggles when I do pick her up. Is there anything I can do to help with that?
Thanks,
Gingersnap
