  Was holding Remus and petting him. He was obviously quite content as he was curled up, not moving and his eyes were mostly shut. Did this for about 15 minute or so then was looking down talking to him when he lifted up and gave me a nip on the nose. It didn’t hurt in the least, felt more like a scrap than a bite and I thought he licked me after as the tip of my nose was rather wet. He then hopped on the desk to explore. No aggression or other behavior, just a soft nip Even after, while exploring the desk, somewhere he’s not going to get on much, he seemed quite content, hopping around and sniffing. Picked him back up after a couple minutes and no problem or bites. The only thing was the common of when he sees he’s about to go in the cage, he struggles to get loose to hop in.
  
  Anything to worry about or was it like a bunny kiss?

  It sounds to me like absolutely nothing to worry about. If a bunny wants to hurt you, it hurts. Your nose would’ve bled.
  
  Bunnies “speak” by nipping. Sometimes they will nip when you stop petting them. They can nip pretty hard when they think you’ve stopped petting them too soon.
  
  Bunnies do struggle when they are being put back in their cages. Bunnies hate being picked up out of instinct because predators pick bunnies up, then eat them.

  I didn’t think so, but was concerned.
  
  He wants to go back in his cage as it’s all he knows, so he tends to struggle to get in there. I’m afraid of him hurting himself doing so, so i hold tight to make sure he goes in safe.
  
  He didn’t seem aggressive at all as he was quite content, even seeming to look like he was falling asleep as i held him.
  
  Good, a load off my mind. Thanks!

  Poor little darling! I think my bunny Bam had spent his life before I found him sitting in a cage, because he wouldn’t move around when I first got him. At first I kept him in a cage but then I let him have free roam of the apt. Only he didn’t roam. He sat under the coffea-table for a year!
  
  But after a year, that changed.

  His cage is all he knows. He was being raised as a meat rabbit. Not any more
  
  Working with him to get him out and more comfortable, but when stressed or he sees the cage open and he’s out, he almost flails to get in. Getting better, though!
  
  Had him roaming the floor a bit tonight. Had a nice microfiber blanket down and he was hopping around on it, standing on his hind legs to look around all that. Wouldn’t leave the blanket completely, other to sit up with me on the sofa and almost stand on my shoulder, but it’s progress! He seemed to enjoy himself. We’ll get there. Only issue was yesterday when he heard the dog while i was picking him up to put him in his cage after cleaning it . He almost flailed to get in there at the noise He and another rabbit were attacked by dogs, but he escaped. So I get this. We’ll get there, though! Just takes time and patience, something I have a ton of.

  Thank you for saving him! I’m sure he’ll come around, it seems he’s making lots of progress already! My Bam is nowadays a very cuddly and brave little rabbit who happily chases his treat-ball, runs in his tunnels and finds new places to nap during the day. He’s really taught me a lot about patience.
  Remus looks super-cute. I love Harry Potter.

  Love critters, so it wasn’t a hardship. He’s certainly easier to deal with that Evil Feline Overlord #1! He’s vicious thanks the the abuse he suffered. Even 14 years later, he still has his moments.
  
  Remus is getting there, just will take time. He already is cuddly and has been, not at all mean. It’s just the getting him used to the outside of the cage. he’ll manage and he is so adorable!
