Bunny poop that looks totally normal except seems to have a drop of water on each poop?

  My bunny is a little over 4 months. I’m going to post part of this in the “behavior” catagory, because I’m curious about her behavior too!
  
  My bun was more playful than ever this evening, chasing my kids around, and doing circles around my feet! So cute! BUT for some reason she was POOPING the whole time! Just leaving a trail of poops! She is usually very good about using her litter box, so not sure if she was just overly excited??
  
  Back to the poop itself – it looked totally normal (small round balls), but they seemed to have a drop of water on each of the poops. But the water seemed to quickly dissipate or absorb? Usually she poops in her littler box, so maybe her poops are always like this and then the water dries quickly so I’ve never noticed this? But I wasn’t sure if this was unusual. Any advice would be great! Thank you!

  I have never heard about water-drops on bunny-poop, but some poop can be have a shiny, “oily” residue on them. This substance is often strong-smelling (the smell can vary and might be described as “onion-like” or like corn-chips.Those are the poops the bunny poop-marks with. The marking-poops are often somewhat bigger than the “ordinary” poop. If this is what you’re seeing, it’s perfectly normal and healthy.
  
  Your bunny is 4 months old, which is consistent with her being well on her way into puberty. “Teen-age” bunnies have a strong urge to mark their territory. During this time in their lives, they can lose their litter-box habit almost altogether. It’s not something they do by choice, it’s all controlled by hormones.
  
  Territorial marking often gets a lot better when a bunny has been spayed. It is recommended to always spay girl-rabbits, since they have a very high risk of uterine cancer at age 3-4. She can be spayed at around 6 months.
