  Winter break will be coming up soon, meaning I will most likely be at my mother’s for the majority of it. I can’t bring my rabbit with me because she has a baby and a large dog there. I trust my dad to feed my rabbit if I go, but will she be okay being in her cage? I don’t trust him with her while she free ranges, because he always tries to grab and pet her, and she isn’t a fan of either of those things. If he does let her out, I know he won’t have the patience to let her go back into her cage. Will she be okay being in her cage for a few days? Even one day?

  Absolutely. She won’t be happy about it, for sure but she will be fine. There are bunnies who never get out of their cages. Although, that’s really cruel. But your bun will be fine. You might get the “bunny butt” when you get back so bring treats. Just make sure your Dad knows the signs of illness (lethargy, not eating, etc) so he can call you and/or the vet.
