We have this festival called Diwali (in case any of you might want to Google it) and its famous for people burning fire crackers. I want to make sure I do the most I can for Moshu. Last year she got really intimidated. However, she found her shelter below the bed. When the firecrackers stopped, she came out and had her food as usual. She didn’t show any signs of stress after that.
I am planning to bring in her cage inside (she’s an indoor bunny anyways, but we use the cage for her only at nights so that she doesnt hurt herself in the dark and hop all over our faces while we are asleep; the cage is pretty spacious and she is at ease when inside it). So yes, I was planning to bring in the cage and cover three of its sides with a blanket, keep a few blankets inside it too and keep her in there till it gets silent. Is this a better thing to do or to just let her be and let her find a corner for herself where she feels safe.
What all else can I do to make it less stressful for her ?
