hey guys,
so i forgot my password and username to my previous account, but this week has been crazy. my rabbits name is theo he should be turning 3 in December. ive had him since he was a lil boy. well at the beginning of last week i noticed theo wasn’t doing too well! he wasn’t eating or pooping and was not very active. so I felt his stomach he was bloated and i could tell he was in pain. off we went to the vet they gave him some fluids that his skin was supposed to absorb ? then some meds to syringe feed him throughout the week. he was improving very well until about 2 days later he started acting funny, I felt his stomach and could tell he was bloated again. i didn’t want to take him to the vet again cause I was hoping the meds would work and they did. he was all good until this morning. I have been giving him meds morning and night all week until this morning I went down to give him his meds he wouldn’t take them! I tried everything but he wouldn’t swallow so I made an appointment for today. we took him in about 2 hours after I found him like that (they couldn’t get me in sooner) and they said he was very badly constipated. he was very weak and was limp they put on oxegyn loaded him up with medicine and the vet said it was very serious. it was one of the worst cases he’s seen. so we started home he seemed to be moving a little bit. we pulled up into the driveway and I knew something was up….. my little boy was going. he started gasping for air and he went completely limp in my arms. theo was honestly one of the best things to happen to me. he was my first rabbit and I loved him honestly more than anything. i just wish i had more time with him. ? i know it was in Gods plan for it to be like this. our vet recommended to help, is to get another rabbit she said we need to get our mind off of things. I’m going to be trying to get a little girl next week that I’m very excited for. i know no one can replace the love I had for theo but i just hope this new rabbit will make me as happy as I was when I was with theo! <3
thanks for reading this! i know it’s pretty long.
