Hey everyone, since Philomena has had tummy troubles (blockage of the cecum and prone to stasis) she has been on a limited pellet diet. She has timothy 24/7 she gets a bowl full of kale, romaine, and either cilantro or parsley in the morning and at night. She gets about a small handful (like the size of a quarter amount) of timothy based pellets in the mornings and evenings after she had her salad. I put the pellets in a toilet paper roll and fold the edges so she has to work to get them out. She loves it.
Anyway, she has become very demanding… When i walk into the kitchen (not even at nomnom times) she will either follow me or chew on her playpen. If I g to the closet with her hay and food she will growl and thump at me to hurry up. It breaks my heart because she is so cute when she begs and it makes me want to give her all the treats in the world.
My question is am I feeding her enough? I mean shes only three pounds and has unlimited hay. Or is she just a really demanding bunny with strong piggy tendencies?
Anyone else have a pushy bun?
