  Hi everyone!
  
  It’s my first post here, so bear with me while I explain a bit about Professor (Fessy)! I got her in May from a friend who never took her to the vet and she was almost 3 (she is now officially 3). She got spayed in June, when they found and removed localized uterine cancer, and then she had molar spurs in August, a UTI the beginning of October (got Baytril) and finally getting better! I’m a gaduate student and have already spent thousands on her health issues and just want her to be better.
  
  I noticed a bump on her right back today (near where her back leg is) and when I checked it out, the fur came off! It’s dry the area outside of the bald spot seems fine, but the bald spot still seems a little bumpy. It’s a not a place she can scratch or bite though. I’ve attached a picture for reference. Any suggestions are welcome! I don’t live super close to a rabbit savvy vet (about an hour and a half away) so any “home remedies” are appreciated until I can get her there!
  
  She also has been flying around the house lately so maybe she scratched herself on something? Thanks for the help!

  Any itching? Rupert had a scab on his back and that was our indication he wasn’t well and dealing with mites. They’re pretty flexible and can reach just about everywhere on their body.
  
  With the cancer scare-I would be worried about this in case it’s some kind of tumour. But I understand the huge vet bills too-Why don’t you try neosporin/polysporin and keep an eye on it. If she’s eating/drinking/peeing/pooping and acting normal, waiting a little is generally ok

  Thanks for the reply!! She’s acting completely normal, and it’s actually at a place when she can’t scratch it, but maybe lick it a little if she tried hard. I’ll try the neosporin and try the sorta-rabbit savvy vet later this week if it gets worse!
