So Moxie’s been doing this behavior for a while actually. I’ll be sitting on my bed cuddling her (normally I’ll be doing something else as well), giving her pets and kisses. But as soon as I stop (even if it’s just reaching over to plug in a charger) she’ll start violently digging at the bed while making growling/grunting noises (It kinda sounds like lung congestion but the vet said she was just growling. It only happens when she gets mad like I groom her or take away “her” food). When I start to pet her again she’ll stop digging and the growls/grunts will fade away, and sometimes she will tooth purr.
Just a couple minutes ago I had to stop giving her cuddles because I had to plug in the laptop charger (I was still sitting next to her, just not making physical contact) and she started digging and growling after about 30 seconds of this behavior she hopped away and into her homebase growling/grunting but it stopped when she ate. Now she’s nudging my feet grunting. Is it because she loves me and wants more attention, she’s mad at me for some reason or could it be something else? Any advice/input would be very much appreciated!
Thanks so much in advance!
