  Tonight when I was cuddling with my little bun I noticed that her belly was really round and balloon like. I was afraid that it might be gas or bloating, but I’m not too sure. Shes been using her toilet and pooping normally and doesnt seem hurt or scared when I feel her belly. Shes only about a few months old (Not sure because she was a stray rabbit). She was fine last night. But these past few days shes been getting a bit plumper. I’ve had her for a few weeks now and she only got plumper when I fed her a tablespoon of pellets everyday. Does she have gas or is she bloated? She doesnt seem to be in any sort of pain and is fine with me pushing a bit into her belly. One side is a bit bulged out on the side, and the other size I felt was normal. Unfortunately I have to pay for the vet bills and I dont have enough. I wasn’t expecting to get a bun so soon, is there any idea whats wrong? She doesnt seem to be in any discomfort or pain at all, she ate all her veggies and hopped around my living room too! Also letting me plop her into her cage and massage the sides of her belly. She doesnt smell either (only smelling like the dill she ate this evening).

  A distended belly is a cause for concern imo. You should contact a vet. A suddenly bulging belly could be a sign of bloating. Bloating is a concern, it could be a sign of gas or constipation which could lead to GI stasis.
  
  If it is bloating, the cause could be a change in diet or parasites, or something else.
  You can give baby gas drops (simethicone) and massage her belly to help get gas out. She should eat lots of hay.

  She’s been getting plumper ever since I gave her pellets. I’ll stop giving pellets and veggies and let her eat only hay for a few days, and massage her belly. If it’s still bloated then I’ll have to try and work for the $70 for vet bills + Medicine probably

  I’m wondering if there is a possibility that shes pregnant. I’ve only had her for about a week or so and she had contact to other domestic rabbits people released. Just wondering, but there is a possibility. I’m estimating her age to be around 2-4 months old.

  Please do that. I’m only worried because we not so long ago had reports of 2 bad incidents here with young bunnies that got bloated tummies. So keep an eye, do massages, simethicone, keep her hydrated. Especicially if you up her hay, hay requires lots of water, of course.
  
  It’s of course not possible to say if her plumpness is due to her getting pellets. But young rabbits should get unlimited pellets and normally that won’t make them fat, since they are growing and need the extra calories. So be vigilant and if she stops eating/pooping, it is an emergency. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you. I know vet care is expensive.

  At 10-12 weeks, a girl bunny starts puberty. So yes, there’s a possibility of her being pregnant.

  I cant give her unlimited pellets since shes addicted to em’. If I give it to her she’ll eat the whole bag within an hour and not eat anything else! I’ll stick with hay for 1-2 days since the vet is closed on Sundays anyways. I’m low on money so I have to save up. I did see her chase another rabbit and trying to sniff it’s back side. I thought she was a male since she was chasing it strangely. That was before I captured her, and there are a few buns around. I saw a dwarf with the same coat as her, a light brown rabbit about the same size, a larger adult agouti coat bun, and a adult japanese harlequin bun too. So there are 2 adults around and they’re always together whenever I see them. The little dwarf is skiddish and I only saw the small light brown one only once. I’ll keep an eye on her and see how she does. If it isnt better in 2 days I’ll have to ask for my parents to pay the bills because I wont be able to get $100 dollars for a vet trip. Check up is around 60-70 and not including medicine and tax! Hopefully its nothing serious.

  If she’s pregnant, she would probably want to eat lots. But hay is still the best choice for her imo, since we don’t know if she’s pregnant or not. You’ll soon see her start to nest, if there’s a pregnancy going on.

  Yeah, she ha been eating a bit more hay than she usually is, but I havent seen any nests yet. For some reason I’m hoping that she is pregnant instead of being bloated. Maybe it’s just me wanting her to be safe… I’ll see in a couple of days. I’m not home most of the day (school) but I see her after and lets her run around the garage all day (bringing her upstairs after she is fully litter trained). I’ll watch for her eating, pooping, peeing, and playing behaviours. She doesnt seem like in any pain, so it might not be bloating. Shes completly fine with me pushing down on the side of her belly.

  Alright its morning, I’m gonna go check on Armadillo after breakfast and see how she’s doing.

  The lump is gone! No idea what it was though! It had me so worried! Its gone and she looks skinner too… Maybe just some gas?

  Yay! So happy to hear it!
  They do get gas sometimes. I’d still recommend you get some baby gas drops (simethicone) if this should come back, at least for me it’s an important part of my bunny first aid-kit. It keeps a long time in the fridge. You can get it Walmart and such places.
  
  You can keep giving her little massages if you like, for a while.
